Do I Hide From The Rain?

the rain has returned
it is
beating me down
rain usually does

drenching me
and penetrating me with its
cold shafts of grey

ducks must feel this way
why is it not
that I can't wear
weather proofed feathers

are ducks weather proofed
on the inside

please, tell me
how do I hide
from the
rain

surely
it has become
a way of feeling
