 Contemporary poetry by Dan Donlan

Somewhat I guess
But I wait for fall
The old head for all day sunshine
I would miss the days of Winter
The winds the blowing cold rain
It just wouldn't''t be the same
Santa Clause on a hot roof
The reindeer somewhat aloft
Although I wouldn't''t miss that awful cough
And the wish for spring to arrive
Bees buzzing about tulips and chive
And flowers seeking Sun newly alive
And summer as good as it gets
Would leave me somewhat in fits
I love my time with four seasons
And if you don't understand not for me
To give you my reasons
