A Promise for Faith in the dusky lamp light with the wee hours ticking past the sound of gentle twittering coos and mellow cries, entice thoughts to the miracle given rocking half-asleep swaddled in my arms, in the converging years when times of strife and sorrow will scrutinize us and moments of felicity and exultation will inspire us, let the promise be remembered that love from above brought forth a beautiful soul, holding your petite hand sheathed by my age-touched, a meek prayer lifts, the capacity for love measures to eternity guided by grace, an extraordinary gift perpetually in the serene places of the heart.
