Darkness get away from me
I stand on high ground fast and strong
The light rushes in
And death cannot win
I found peace in the valley
Shed my blood there's no grand finally
But there's tears in the heavens
For the little ones that die
I cried at night for there repentance
And into mornings break of light
The freedom given was my hate
Taken away by someones love
No one ever knows
what some freedoms have chose
I stretch the window pain with plastic
Trying to keep the cold air out
But retreat softly to the garden
To see your loving grace at noon
Doorways close and then re open
The stars are shining for this love
The characters that start the action
Solid traces from there youth
Stories fade in surrenders embrace
I took a chance where it hurt for the pace
No mind can hold his glory Jesus Or god they hold my heart
Than the gentle breeze of summer
The fall has made me feel the righteous heart
What we gain in friendships peace
Constantly we see the light shinning down so brilliantly
Never say never open your heart
Give no one judgment
But shoot from the start as though you are in the beginning
So why must I leave if I love
Why must I stay if I feel the same
What response was given
Faded memories that open up and free the fabric of existence
