PRESENTS TO DELIVER

PRESENTS TO DELIVER

Santa`s on his way I wonder what he`ll bring
Soon you`ll be able to hear the sleigh bells ring,
Laden with parcels the reindeers run so fast
Excitement grows as Christmas is here at last.

Santa will find a chimney in which to jump
And he`ll land at the bottom with a big bump,
Mince pies will be left and a drink for him too
It`s probably a sample of Dad`s home brew.

If there`s no chimney he also has a key
But he must be as quiet as he can be,
Santa will leave the presents under the tree
Hoping you will be happy with what you see.

Having checked his list he is ready to go
He then notices it is starting to snow,
No time to waste Santa must be on his way
So once more he climbs up on to his sleigh.

His work all year has been for Christmas Eve
He has a lot of magic that he must weave,
He has so many children to see tonight
And he must do it before it becomes light.
