 Contemporary poetry by Dan Donlan

Poetry for me took a backseat today
In Silver shades of Grey
To be truthful brown shades of manure
The writings of propaganda from the sewer
Though Obama was not my choice
For eight years he was indeed Americas voice
Get this Bush and America blamed for 9-11
Play dice with this idiot and all his rolls turn up seven
Reality his floor is down and the gates closed to Heaven
Floating not with Angels but the destroyers of the human race
And those seeking virgins just in pieces floating in space
Now instead of  the Bushes blame it all on Trump
Was that smell some more manure or a terrorist took a dump?
Put that in your pipe and smoke it
Say does that smell like Store High In Transport?
