Sister, Walk Slow

In some small corner of Heaven
With a sweet smelling scent...
We will meet and we'll wonder
Where all the lonliness went.

Under a starry umbrella
Our fingers will lace...
And I'll hug you so fiercely
As tears of joy kiss my face .

We'll hear guitars softly stumming
As our reunion glides on...
And we'll know without warning
Our dad will sing us a song.

Puffs of straying white clouds
Will push our mom into view...
And our brother will join her
As several others will, too.

The time has been scheduled
But the Lord alone knows...
The  very day and the hour
When anyone goes.

So, walk slowly, my sister,
As I dabble down here...
Keep your eye on that corner
Until the day I appear.

We'll have an enless Eternity
To spend with each other...
With our daddy and mom
And with our dear brother.

But the best part of Heaven
As you already know...
Is that Jesus is there...
O, my sister, walk slow...

Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection,
and the life: he that believeth in me, though
he were dead, yet shall he live.
