The desert and the dry land, Will be so joyously glad; The wilderness will be grand, Blossoming to be clad. Like a lily on the land, Will be flowering in spring; Jubilant where it will stand, As it gleefully will sing. It will have all the glory, As it shows its majesty; Singing out of the story, With a humbled modesty. Strengthen the limp in your hands, Firm up and steady weak knees; With doing as God commands, Showing favor that will please. The those who are terrified, Be brave and be not afraid; Each one will be rectified, God will be rendering aid. God will come with His vengeance, He comes with divine revenge; On those who with indulgence, His wrath willing to avenge. He opens eyes of the blind, Clearing the ears of the deaf; Showing how gentle and kind, For having life after death. Then those who are lame will leap, Those who were dumb will now speak; Insomniacs could then sleep, The Lord each of us will seek. Cool water will be gushing out, Cooling down all dry hot sand; Finally ending the drought, Making it a fertile land. Copyright © 2017 Richard Newton Sherrer Vote for this poem
