My  Sweet Valentine

So swift the arrow, so sure the flight,
That struck my heart that long ago night.
Like a bolt of lightning from a clear blue sky,
My heart skips a beat when you are nigh.

My love for you grows stronger each day,
And tears my heart when you're away.
The more I give, the more I receive,
As with tender care you gently weave

The strands of our lives as they blend into one,
And gleam with the radiance of a setting sun.
All my dreams and longings are fulfilled in you,
For you change gray skies to fairest of blue.

My one true love, my sweet Valentine,
   Our hearts together forever entwine.
Through endless ages may our love endure,
Shining crystal bright and eternally pure.
