'' They'll Never Get You ''

The lessons you're taught,
From an early age,
Either will or not,
Determine your, assuage.

It's not what you learn,
But how it is used,
To get what you yearn,
It can be abused.

While some work hard,
Others will steal,
Your ways they'll discard,
Their lives are surreal.

Abusing drugs or drink,
They love to exalt,
As they spew in the sink,
It's never their fault.

They're in all walks of life,
Try not to be fooled,
Some revel in strife,
Over you they've ruled?

Be they rich or poor,
They'll make it their aim,
To do you for sure,
None ever feel shame.

They are liars and thieves,
Yes, one and all,
While you he/she relieves,
They walk off with their haul.

The truth they then smother,
In the main they're uncouth,
By then blaming another,
They're disguising the truth.

They're among the masses,
From bottom to top,
Amidst all of the classes,
They'll give you the chop.

Don't ever stop learning,
They never do,
If you are discerning,
