Its --been --a --very-- very --long,-- exhausting,-- straining,-- and --draining --DAY
As --i --have --been --running --my ---SON---around --everywhere--in --every -WAY
Im -listening, -very -patiently, -to -his -anger,- cussing,- shout-temper-, rant -and --RAVE
And --im --watching --HIM--how --so --self --distractingly--, angrily,-- resentfully, --he--shouts,-- cusses, --and----BEHAVES
But -he -will -catch --HIMSELF-- and -HE- has -remorse-- and--REGRET
As-- things-- that --went --far--and--unfair--astray --and --way--wrong--, and --his --goals --were --not--MET
Patiently,- calmly, -and -collectively--, i --listen --very --CAREfULLY
Because-- when --i --speak --to --him--FAITHFULLY--HOPEFULLY--and--POSITIVELY--i--really--want--HIM--to--listen--to--ME
Today -has -been -a -real --CHALLENGE---SUPREME
As -calming -HIM-down,- positively--redirecting --him-- when --he --rants --raves, --cusses, --and --gets --so --stressed,-- and --, distressed, --depressed--disgruntled--, and --angry,--its--impossible --to --calm --HIM--it--SEEMS
The -room -for -rent -that -he -had -all-lined--up -for -five -days -fell -through -the --CRACK
Now -back -out -on- the -street -tonight-, he -is--BACK
So he bought a sleeping bag, so at least he can stay WARM--TONIGHT
But i wanted to get him a hotel room again, but , against that idea, he wanted to--FIGHT
So -i-had- to -just-let-it --GO
And --its --disappointing-- again, --dont --ya--KNOW
At -least --HE-- still -has- his---tela-marketing-- job,-- and --Monday --again -to--work--he--will--RETURN
This --SON--of --mine,-- when-- is--HE--going --to --wise--and--grow-- up, --and --when --is --HE--going --to --wake-- up, --and --really--LEARN
For the past sixteen years, of these troubles, and strife, and tirmoil
We would argue tie to toe, and my blood would--BOIL
But -no -more
He -will -decide -the- course -his -life,- living,- and -love -will -take -for -sure
Im --trying --to --be --his --friend
And --when --i --speak, --always-- positive --vibes --is --what-- i --want --to --send
I -can -see, -HE-IS--a-- set--back --some
That-- i --am --not --showing --disappointment--, stress --and-- anger, --not --any-- not--none
But i told him, i have today my total --LIMIT
And now he has to take care of himself and own his choices--win--IT
So --much --undue --distress-- he --brings--to--HIMSELF--and--hinders--hurts--and-does--harm--himself--ALOT
Making --himself--feel, --so--terrible--unlucky--, down,-- disrespected, --shuned,-- and---DISTRAUGHT
I -realized- i -had -to -let -him--BE
As -he -wanted- to -be -ALONE--by -himself -and--FREE
This- to -me -is -nothing- a -new
For -the -past -sixteen -years --alot,- of -disappointment-, everyone -he -has -put -through
It is such of a difficult dilemma
Especially, for immediate family, siblings his ma and pa
But --the --bottom-- line --and --fact-- of --the --matter --IS
He -is- an -able -adult,- and -able-- with--mind-- and --body, --and --every --choice-- that-- HE-- makes --and --decides-- alone --is --HIS
When -a -person, -is -off -track
Just -gotta -listen,- be -there -and -hope- and- pray, -they -can -come -positively, -responsibly--a---BACK
It -is -an--exhausting-- challenge --so--GREAT
Reaching --out --with-- love--, mercy--,grace--, and --understanding, --fighting,-- not --to --become--irritated,-- angry,-- and---IRATE
To -reah -out,- and -do -all -things- with --LOVE--and --understanding
Trying --to --be, --calm, --cool,-- collective, --and --less --judgemental--, and --demanding
Hoping -for -positive -change
That -a -troubled --SON--his --life,-- living, --and --LOVE--he-- can --and --will, --positively--humbly--Rearrange
