Poetic-Verses

'' For Soon You'll Be Gone ''

If life is for living,
It has to be said,
It's so unforgiving,
We all end up dead.

Growing old and grey,
Is so unfair,
No need to pray,
Why, nobody's there.

Illness will appear,
When you least expect,
You then live in fear,
Of its terrible effect.

Those close will die,
Leaving you distraught,
This you cannot deny,
Health cannot be bought.

Where are your gods,
When you need them most,
These man made frauds,
Are akin to a ghost.

Despite what they say,
Miracles are fiction,
Reject or obey,
You'll still suffer friction.

The realities of life,
Are what you must face,
Though religions are rife,
They can't take its place.

Life is your treasure,
You have the brawn,
Ensure it's a pleasure,
