So Much Beauty

purple red clouds at morning
the world a hushed whisper
not even the early morning thrum of traffic
can penetrate the awe of silence
wrapped around the bold mackerel sky
so much beauty I am pinned to it

golden globe coolly guards the night
a sentry perched high above the pulsing city
gliding  glow-worms of moving traffic slither below
wondering if any driver glances up to soak it all in
all that gleaming heavenly glory
so much beauty I am pinned to it

MELOO STRAIGHT FROM HER TILT-A-WORLD

9:38AM PST TIME/DATE STAMPED/ MARCH 11 2017

I had to write this description down in order to
preserve this morning to my memory.
A grander sky tapestry in the city, I have yet to ever witness.

First part of poem written on Friday morning
Last part of poem written on Sunday night
after witnessing the first full moon of March
The Worm Moon when all the earthworms rise from the
fragile shell of the earth to see if it is yet Spring

4:13am PST March 13Th, 2017 date/time stamped second half of poem.
