WOMB OF THE SAME MOTHER: POEMS

THINGS PASSING BY

I TOO THOUGHT I COULD FLY

I AM BUILDING AN ARK

I GREW UP LOVING JESUS AND BASEBALL

Eternity is forever
A Day a passage of time
Absolute Power
 meaningless mist
Reality what survives
Greatness a vanishing smile
Promises are made
Only to be broken pledges
A new President is in the game
Nothing changes but the name
life for simple truth
Justice is what blinds Earth pillars
Ten Commandments have real meaning
Hatred has no meaning but illusion
Colors are faded harvests
sketches of a life's work
Baby cries and an old man dies
Mankind must learn good from Evil
In the short time between the beginning
What becomes of the future
Warring fades into misunderstanding
And the God's above are crying
"What they are doing to my beautiful planet!"
The rains fall, winds blows ice, forests burn in fires
Stupidy drowned in vapid drugs
And soon only cockroaches and ants survive
Eternity begins at the entrance of Heavens gate
