And You May Be The Reaper

none
of us are healed
through judgment

this would seem obvious
but its not

the world judges
we all judge
we even judge or judging

ask yourself
what did it feel like for you
to be judged

did you feel
wronged
misunderstood
maligned
were you numbed
thumbed down
dismissed

judgments aren't decisions
they are biases
they are personal
in more ways than one
they have tentacles
and consequences that reach and grab
far and wide
long and deep
they wound and scar
even kill and maim
when spoken they run off
and don't come back from where they came

and sorry
and I'm so sorry
and we're all so sorry
can't sop up all the shame
and the blame
of judgments

stop think
before you open your mouth
or click off a note
or a tweet
your words how now your words
what ill they will reap
and you may be the reaper.

directly to the page. WE/I COULD ALL USE
THIS UN-GENTLE REMINDER TO THINK AND ACT KINDER
SHARE A RANDOM ACT OF KINDNESS WITH A
COMPLETE STRANGER TODAY AND YOU WILL FEEL
ALL THE BETTER FOR IT...
FORGIVENESS, INCLUDING FORGIVING OURSELVES
FOR JUDGING IS PART OF THE ABOVE EQUATION, AS WELL.
