Birds Be Proud
Birds Be Proud
Birds be proud of those sturdy wings
Which with wind dance and take swings
Or be you proud of that sharp beak
Which could carve dark clouds, to lightning streak
When you take off and scale the height
Be proud of that promising flight
When with rustling storm windows shutter
With a note of confidence your wings flutter
When as that smile you wear
Comes from your hearts dear
Will last to be fascinating shower
When all you depart and memories hover
