My name is Joseph. Who you see in my arms is my youngest sister Sophia.
Believe it or not this picture you see was taken just over two years ago already.
Aren't they wonderful these things they call our memories? They can be captured and stored to be brought to mind when the need is greatest.
Not quite sure how they do that but pretty cool huh?
Once upon a long time ago I was a baby born within a poetic home. All of Grandma's friends there counted down the days untill I arrived on earth.
They even gave me an online baby shower complete with invitations and a surprise for Grandma.
Grandma began to write to them speaking for me just about the time I was born. I just began to drop in to share one of my many adventures to growing up.
I had so many friends there and I miss not being able to just drop in.
My visits were planned to come when a smile was needed on the site or when Grandma needed to smile herself.
My updated pictures and a new adventure would arrive with the title of
Guess Who's Just Dropping In?
I got to thinking maybe you wouldn't mind if I just dropped in on you too.
So here I am! (giggle)
A fellah just can't have too many friends. Don't cha know?
Solace is my oldest sister. In the pictures you have seen so far we were meeting Sophia for the first time.
You see, when 'Sophie' was born, she weighed only three pounds one ounce. She was only seventeen inches long. She had to stay in the hospital for a very long time and we didn't get to meet her for a whole month!
Finally came her first day home with us as a family.
I was sooooo excited!
Solace on the other hand stood from one of Grandma's favorite picture in the whole world and announced very firmly
"Baby go home now!"
Grandma says she collects angels. She says that they are always near to our hearts whenever there is the need to call upon them.
You just never know when one of us might just call upon you.
I told my grandma by phone last night that all you need to be happy is food, clothing, shelter and love. My Mommy does her very best to give us all four.
I am learning very fast that sometimes life is not easy. But to find a way to bring a smile, or find a smile, makes it so much easier.
> Sophia will be three in March.
Solace will be six in March
You guessed it. My birthday is in March too. I will be ten
Well I guess I have kept you long enough.
Remember to hold close to those you love and loves you in return.
Thank you for letting us drop in. Who knows maybe we will meet again.
