Easter --sunday
Im -thinking -of -my -childhood, -memories, -of - my -EASTERS,- growing -up -in --MINNESOTA------YESTER--YEAR
My -Mother, -would -always -prepare -an -EASTER-----meal---feast--and---BUFFET
And --seems-- usually --a --delicious-- baked --ham --HAPPILY--we --would--GET
It -was -a -very--special --meal,-- and --TIME
That -my -Mom -would -break -out -the -special -silverware-, but -first -all -of -them -she -would,- -DELICATELY--and--MOST--CAREFULLY--LOVINGLY----clean, --and ----SHINE
On -EASTER-, time -all- family -from -near -and -far -would -come- together- and --GATHER
And -usually,- at -EASTER,- the -sun -was -out -with -early- spring, -and ---WEATHER
EASTER--SUNDAY--CATHOLIC--TRADITIONAL--CEREMONIAL--SERVICES----MASS
We--would--always--attend--and--on----EASTER--SUNDAY--SERVICES--THE--MASS--Would--go--on--and--on--and--on--and--FOREVER--LAST
My --DAD, --in --Church, --HE--would --get --MOST--ANGRY
And -my -Brother, -and --ME
We -tried- to -be -GOOD--and --LISTEN--,PRAY--and-- be --QUIET-- and --SIT----STILL
But --after-- an --hour --or --so, --of --siting,-- standing--,and-- kneeling--, we --started--laughin, --and --gigglin--, and --BUSTING-- up --against --our --own ---FREE--WILL
Oh -my -DAD
He -let-us- know -when- we -got -back-in-the- car, --that--we --were --gonna --get --it, --In -CHURCH, --as--me -and -my -brother,- we --made --DAD-- so,-- so,-- so--MAD

Their- was -a -time -or --TWO
That --DAD, --in --church --he --got --so --mad,-- and --HE--just --said,-- in --the --middle --of --communion, --once, --lets --go,-- and-- you --kids --are --gonna --get --it, --and --we --up --and --left, --and --our-- church --services --were --over --done --and --through, --and --we --PRAYED,--because-- when --DAD,--HE--was --MAD, -WE--knew-- WE--were --BAD, --and --now-- WE--had --to --pay --the --price --and --we --were---THROUGH
EASTER,-- baskets-- and-- a --chocolate --BUNNY
Mom -she -always- said, -we -did--the--best-- for --you --kids, --even --though --WE--dont-- have--ALOT-- of--MONEY
So -WE-never- got -the -biggest -chocolate -Easter- bunny -on -the -BLOCK
So -WE-didnt- join -in -all -of -the -other -kids -bragging- rights -what -they -got -and --BRAG--and--TALK
But- now -as -im- much -older -i --KNOW
That --mom ---and --dad,-- they-- did --their --very--best-- every --EASTER, --to --show-- US--that--they --LOVED-- US--SO
EASTER--we--all--sat--down--and--together--said--GRACE
Then, -we -all, -DUG-- in,--and-- moms --and --grand--mas,-- COOKIN---, we --FEASTED--and --LOVED----to----TASTE
Mom,- always -reminded -US-of -the -special,- HOLLINESS-- of --EASTER, --and --to --be --humble, --thankful, --gracious --and --kind, --and---PRAY
Mom -TAUGHT---US- -to--PRAY--on--EASTER--and--to--PRAY--each--and--EVERYDAY
We--.colored-- ,our--- hard-- boiled-- eggs, --and --each --kid --had --an --EASTER,-- basket, --that --mom, --and --dad,--PREPARED
On --EASTER, --and --on --every --Holiday--they --did --the --very --best-- of --their --best, --to --show --US--all, --that --they--CARED
EASTER--SUNDAY--is--the--MOST---HOLY--and--SPECIAL--DAY
That --LOVINGLY--stays--in--a--FAITHFUL--HEART--all--year--long--and--every--DAY
