The Dark
Gathering dark clouds
may look ominous
But they bring the rain
a life force joyous
Lost at night floundering
frightened in the dark
Come dawn one may find
himself in a lovely park
A black raven may seem
evil and repellent
But amongst all birds it is
the most intelligent
How mistakenly we are scared
of all the dark things
And think bad luck is what
dark always brings
may look ominous
But they bring the rain
a life force joyous
Lost at night floundering
frightened in the dark
Come dawn one may find
himself in a lovely park
A black raven may seem
evil and repellent
But amongst all birds it is
the most intelligent
How mistakenly we are scared
of all the dark things
And think bad luck is what
dark always brings
