Happy Ever After
This is my words to my son Donald and his wife Hayley on their wedding day 2/6/17
I could tell so many stories
Of Don when he was young
Like hanging from the rooftop
Thinking it was fun
Or climbing up the lamppost
And swinging high and wide
But all I`ll say is that today
He has a lovely bride
Between them they have children
Each one a precious gem
They took their time but what the hell
They won`t do it again
I wish for them the joy of life
And may they always love just right
As they walk together... husband wife
And hold each other very tight
Love is something oh so rare
Two hearts into one
Hope forever they will share
A lifetime in the sun
Hope you both find love and laughter
A love that never ceases
A happy happy ever after
Love you both to pieces.
