some people change
others never do
their roots rot in the soil
their trees never grew
some people change
some people mistake pain
as a thing to avoid
they see others who are pained
as ones to be ignored
some people mistake pain
some people judge it all
others live and compromise
some people never know
what it means to be wise
pick your battle stations
stop competing and comparing too
some people judge it all
and then their time comes due
Some People was directly composed to the page
in a matter of moments...I had some people in mind
when I wrote it.
