After serving in the Air Force
My civilian job was experimental plastics
At Boeing Aircraft
I no longer work at Boeing!
I was given my five year pen
The same day one day short of five years
I was welcomed back
Unrealized by management
Service time counted towards pension
The day I was given my five year pen
I was eligibile for pension
Management shook my hand
Told me what a great worker I was
Grafts showing my work far above bar
At end of day Supervisor
handed me a pink slip
I was days short of pension eligibility
A common trick of management
The layoff of employees short of pension
Hire others of lower pay scale
I was young enough did not think of retirement
Only the injustice of the layoff
I removed doubt with a knockout left to the jaw
Officially retired from Boeing
Do it over I would wait for official five years
I have no respect for Boeing management
I have respect for the Boeing work force
They downsized so not to give me a pension
So the downsizing means nothing in wages
I do occasionally fly on Boeing planes
There was comfort knowing the workers
were well paid well trained Mechanics and Engineers
Some who would proudly one day retire at Boeing
That will no longer happen
Wages no longer include retirement
Retirement except for management no more
Why are they moving to Mesa Arizona?
And have corporate offices in Chicago
So management can exploit their obscene bonuses
With the same uneducated workers that bring
you knockoff plastic toys and clothing
You know ten plastic combs for a dollar
from the far East low paid workers
the airplane industry well have the same knockoff
workers that are making plastic plates and toys
The guys doing yard work well be making airplanes
Trump this is exploding American workers
I well no longer feel it safe to fly in a Bong Aircraft
The misspelling the difference in Education of workers
Make profit, unload upper management bonuses pay for workers
Boeing is losing their advantage employee pride
