Today is a day we celebrate Father's Day
thank you Lord God for Your Son
You both knew exactly what
had to be done.
A Son who loved His Father
He was willing to obey no matter the cost
for He knew He was the perfect sacrifice
that is what it would take to save the lost.
The Father knew the love so deep
to have to look away from the cross
the purity of His Son
and the extent of eternity's cost.
We should learn from this
who paid the debt for all of us
They are the ultimate Father
because salvation is a must.
