I have carried with me
Emotional and spiritual scars
Leaving an imprint in my Soul
Manifesting into sickness
Invading every cell of my being


I must nuture by body
It is the temple for my Heart
Holding all that is sacred
As the ravages of illness
Will be healed by the light
