We all value things no matter what
Whatever it is that we have got,
We look after them with utmost care
And some things we don`t like to share.
Their value is what they`re worth to us
And their merits we like to discuss,
But this is all material stuff
Of which we can`t seem to get enough.
We can`t take it with us when we go
And so to others we then bestow,
They may not want it but hey who cares
Our prized possession then becomes theirs.
The best possession we could ever own
Has the greatest value ever known,
It can`t be counted in a monetary term
As those who appreciate it will confirm.
You can`t pass it on it`s yours alone
Our length of time to us is unknown,
If you waste it then you haven`t a clue
About the value of life have you.
