Defunct Alarm
Defunct Alarm
I Wonder
Why my sun is not called a sun
So also my moon a moon
Not seen the stars in my sky
Artificial stars they do try
Ocean lured with false oath
Breached are river and rivulet both
Mirage is accepted as lake
Clouds are purchased with notes fake
Snatched is horizon with talks cunning warm
Reality frozen and calm
Hypocrisy gains radiance and charm
Truth a defunct alarm
I Wonder
Why my sun is not called a sun
So also my moon a moon
Not seen the stars in my sky
Artificial stars they do try
Ocean lured with false oath
Breached are river and rivulet both
Mirage is accepted as lake
Clouds are purchased with notes fake
Snatched is horizon with talks cunning warm
Reality frozen and calm
Hypocrisy gains radiance and charm
Truth a defunct alarm
