Came from one of my critiques
Sometime poetry seeks
No it is not original from me
You get what you get you see
But I was trying to find the meaning
of Alzheimer's
Other than the obvious old timers
That was it exactly
Althought just a little tacky
"Dancing with the boggeyman!"
A nightly thing not a one night stand
I have the same dream every night
A little nutty but who am I to fight?
Right--but can't remember it
A lame attempt at a little wit
Shadows in the mirror
Poetry just a tad inferior
a fat man dancing
The boogeyman prancing
The moon was outstanding last night
I watched it until mornig light
Woke up and it was a new day
With old timers every day is a new day
Every night is a Nightmare
singing come to my lair
Shadows move across he ceiling
A good nights sleep stealing
Wife says they are spiders
Just  outside the bedroom sliders
Got a go--Doctors appointment this morning
At least outside not storming
Going alone that well be an experience
Not going with me make sense?
No telling where they well find me
And yes I know alzheimers is not funny
But with the sunrise it's sunny
Lets face it neither is getting old timers
And I for one are funning out of Rhymers
Nor the legacy of self read poetry
But then repeats really not for me
