More Like Them
Every grown man and woman
In this country
Needs to stop for a minute
And look at our children
When you get a group of children
Together
Especially around the age
Of five or six
Place them in a room with toys
They will play together
No matter
Their race
Their color
Hell
They won’t even need
To speak the same language
This is what children do
Again
We all need to sit down
Just for a minute
For some
Maybe longer
And figure out
Why we
As adults
Cannot be
More like them
