'' The Human's No More ''
We are on the verge,
Of a nuclear war,
No-one will emerge,
To ask, what for?
The Human race,
Since we first appeared,
Have been the disgrace,
That others feared.
One by one,
As they face extinction,
Soon there are none,
We make no distinction.
The warnings unheeded,
We refused to see,
Their lives were needed,
To sustain you and me.
In the circle of life,
We require each other,
Now as we suffer strife,
The truth we still smother.
Now we're bereft,
There's no water or food,
With no other life left,
It's ourselves we delude.
As our oxygen decreases,
Due to our neglect,
We are falling to pieces,
What's left some protect.
We're now nearing the end,
The situation's dire,
What they have they defend,
Very soon we'll expire.
As the codes are entered,
There's no going back,
Being so self -centred,
It's ourselves we attack.
As the buttons are pressed,
Life's no longer a chore,
At last we've regressed,
‘' The Humans, No More ‘'
