It is hard to concentrate on football
With all the pain and hardship going on
Concerns of friends in Houston
and even more so those in Florida
So I actually walked away from the game
Wife said you are not watching the Cougs?
What a comeback down 21 points in fourth quarter
My Grandson's roommate and defense brought them back
Triple overtime over Boise State
So much going on hard to concentrate on football
It is five in the morning and I cannot sleep
Praying is beyond my control as well as feeling
Can't wait to hear if everyone is safe
I am watching the message board
The Cougs were marvelous 47-44 three overtimes
I did come back to see the overtime moments
Number 30 in on every defensive play

Made it real hard to just walk away
Took off my prime membership and picture post
Made some of my poetry unreadable
After all these loyal moment wont still have my say
But not that easy to get me to just walk away
But a little hard to silence me completely
