My Temple
The bouquet of
wonderful fragrance
From the flower
stalls at the entrance
And the familiar
sound of the bells
With great joy
my heart swells
For I am standing
in front of my temple
Where everything
is so pure and simple
Where I can just
forget all my worries
Daily irritations and
the ugly news stories
Just relax, pray and
meditate for a moment
Taking in the positive
aura to my hearts content
The feeling of peace
and sublime tranquility
Under the loving
gaze of my mother deity
Is something the
words cannot explain
My Shantadurga
temple is a divine domain
wonderful fragrance
From the flower
stalls at the entrance
And the familiar
sound of the bells
With great joy
my heart swells
For I am standing
in front of my temple
Where everything
is so pure and simple
Where I can just
forget all my worries
Daily irritations and
the ugly news stories
Just relax, pray and
meditate for a moment
Taking in the positive
aura to my hearts content
The feeling of peace
and sublime tranquility
Under the loving
gaze of my mother deity
Is something the
words cannot explain
My Shantadurga
temple is a divine domain
