Kind Gesture

Sometimes events and circumstances can blow the wind out of our sails and down we go.
I've been there many times, cried rivers you'd think I'd drown leaving my heart baring an
inward frown.

I find when I can look within and be honest with myself, after awhile my tears refrain and I
get up again. Pulling up my boot straps  brushing off the dirt and start moving forward as
best as I can.

It seems doing something that helps another, makes life's burden's not feel so grimm.
Seeing them smile over the smallest of kind gestures, for me makes life worth living
again.
