Christopher Columbus a Man of Honor

 Christopher Columbus a Man of Honor

†††
***Now today some are trying hard to take away this special day
It is politically incorrect to still honor Columbus

When are we Americans going to stop following the crowd
who wants to destroy America and the love we have for our country

I am disgusted with the  politically incorrect bunk
As for me - my love for Columbus they will never sway

Two Quotes of Christopher Columbus

No one should fear to undertake any task in the name of our Saviour,
if it is just and if the intention is purely for His holy service.

By prevailing over all obstacles and distractions,
one may unfailingly arrive at his chosen goal or destination.

As children in grade school
we sang the song of Columbus

IN 1492

In the year fourteen hundred ninety-two
Columbus sailed the ocean blue.

He had three ships and left from Spain;
The Nina, the Pinta, the Santa Maria.

He sailed through sunshine,
wind and rain.

He sailed by night; he sailed by day;
He used the stars to find his way.

A compass also helped him know
How to find the way to go.

Ninety sailors were on board;
Some men worked while others snored.

Then the workers went to sleep;
And others watched the ocean deep.

Day after day they looked for land;
They dreamed of trees and rocks and sand.

October 12 their dream came true,
You never saw a happier crew!

As children Columbus Day was always a fun day
It was usually a day of play
