Out of the depths I call the Lord,
Out of the depths I call on Him;
Hoping that I am not ignored,
Because life is looking so grim.
Hopefully that He hears my voice,
Letting His ears to hear my plea;
Be attentive so I can rejoice,
For His mercy applied on me.
Just who would be able to stand,
If He kept a record of sin;
Ever rescued from sinking sand,
If you were corrupted within.
But with God there is forgiveness,
So that the Lord can be revered;
If you are willing to confess,
So that corruption can be cleared.
I wait for the Lord, my soul waits,
And in His Word I have the hope;
For His Word always compensates,
Through the times that I have to cope.
My soul is waiting for the Lord,
More that those who watch for the dawn;
I am watching in one accord,
For when He will come and is gone.
Put your trust and hope in the Lord,
Because of His mercy and grace;
Praise to honor to be adored,
So that He returns to embrace.
He will rescue from all your sin,
Redeem you from iniquities;
So that a new life will begin,
In your daily activities.
My heart has never been haughty,
And have never had lofty eyes;
I have renounced being naughty,
From any cheating and the lies.
I keep my soul calm and quiet,
Content now like a weaned child;
Having a spiritual diet,
Held by God has made me mild.
