Praise the Lord from Heaven,
Praise Him from up above;
Praise what He has given,
Creating peace and love.
Praise Him all His angels,
Praise the heavenly host;
Praise all the disciples,
Also the Holy Ghost.
Praise Him for sun and moon,
Praise Him for shining stars;
Praise Him for those who croon,
Praise Him for healing scars.
Praise Him for rain from sky,
Watering plants and trees;
Making it start to dry,
To feel a gentle breeze.
Go praise Him for His name,
Created by command;
Praising as we proclaim,
On the rock that we stand.
He set them forever,
As He made a decree;
Laws that cannot sever,
Humbled on bended knee.
Praise the Lord from the earth,
Praise for fish in the sea;
Praise assets for their worth,
All beauty that we see.
Praise for lightning and hail,
Praise for the fog and snow;
Praise for winds when we sail,
For knowledge that we know.
Praise for birds in the air,
Praise for a strong leader;
Praise for the answered prayer,
To be a succeeder.
Praise the name of the Lord,
Be above all others;
To be loved and adored,
More than all your brothers.
