A wise old man once sat at the corner,
Most thought he had gone crazy,
I once stopped to talk to the old man,
That's when he told me about life,
He talked for what seemed to be hours,
He talked about his travels,
He told me many things that day,
However, out of all his words only a few stayed,
He said " You have not begun to live, until you have lived in love",
At first he seemed to have his troubles,
Then one day I walked past his corner,
No longer on an old wooden bench did he sit,
Years later the old man's words whispered to me,
I lived my life destined to be alone,
Then a gentle soul of a man danced with mine,
Life became a journey now in time,
I now love in love,
Those who thought the old man was crazy,
Never knew he was indeed a wise old man.
