I do not understand why we prefer democracy When the supposed others, could total 49% Nearly half the voting population? Democracy only adds to those wishing To stir the wells of those already discontent, But gives them no voice, other than that of “opposition”. Whereas they by their title have to oppose what the Government wants to vote for… Even if that vote is to the detriment of society. Surely the great minds alive today could do better? A system of governance that truly represents every citizen of that society, Not just those that win a vote with a smile…or a threat?
