THE LOST

dark-night-of-the-soul

Lights are everywhere
But darkness comes
In full black,
Silhouettes move
In squares and circles,
The hands of fear
Flip like pages
In a book beguiling minds
From What is-what is not,
The sober moon hanging
in the sky, too late
To cast dreams,
And magic spells are bound
To mesmerize the lost.
