Autumn Time
Digging a hole in the dirt
to plant a sunflower seed
hoping in a week I will see
it begin to grow.
How I love to see the happy
face of a simple sunflower
they have a certain way
to make you smile.
Besides they are food for birds
after they say good-bye to
the happy world.
When Autumn season
appearing with color, red
orange yellow leaves falling
from the trees, sunflowers
now dried, with corn, wheat
and pumpkin faces.
