 Blood  Stained  Tears
You  stole  away,  in  deadly  silence, as  anguished
Words  spilled  from  my  lips,  bleeding  out  emotionally
Now  marked,  left  as  dead

You'll  come  back,  we'll  talk  it  over,  love  demands
A  way  be  made,  my  wounds  bound  in  understanding  the
Bleeding  stanched,  love  overcomes  this  tidal  wave

The  calendar  turns,  it's  pain  soaked  pages,  the  wounds
Were  left  undressed,  was  it  pride  that  held  you  back?  or
Had  I  Inflicted  wounds  so  deep,  they  could  never  heal

Feigned  politeness,  strained  affection,   as  the  world  looks
On,  I  wonder  would  it  be  different,  had  you  come
Back  that  day,  a  trail  of  bloody  tears,  as  I  slip  away.
