Feathered winds of heaven adrift for you and all of the angel wings, adoring the eternal filtering through the gusts of time and touching eternity. Shades of light dangling off leafy branches played by those heaven-kept harpists that send their notes to the endless you. My crushed heart attempts to climb the lofty heights and sing of wild wind springs of remembered kisses we have shared. You are far above my lonely reach, beyond where my earthly fervor can ascend. I am lost without your nearness and dying to know your strong arms again. I am touched by your soft and tender breezes, kisses blown upward ascending like a gazelle to clamber up the mountains to land upon your mouth. I pray you tend to my bruised and wounded heart and catch my kisses in the puffy clouds of breath. I hope you always have the shelter of the stars in the swirling mists and with the strength of scarred limbs. **Dedicated to my fiance Maurice who passed away July 21, 2018** Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
