I still close my eyes to see tears crystal-colored
dripping down from both of our sad eyes.
Reaching out to you from the shades of blue,
desiring to again know your strong embrace
and those arms of yours enclosing my waist.

The message you sent in a little card
propped up in front of my computer screen;
our over-whelming love has not diminished
ever since you so suddenly passed away
on the summer waves of Heaven's final breath.

Love notes sung from the heart call your name
ask only that you always remember what we had;
and then we will be wed in God's presence
with the white of a band of angel wings surrounding us
and giving us an endless night of love and light.
