SCARY, SCARY NIGHT
Black as the coverings of the night
Tall, grotesque, shady trees stand in sight
Wind passes, claw-shaped twigs seem to poke
Howls serenade the moon, Horrendous creatures awoke
The breeze sending off an eerie chill,
to those who slumber, a horrifying shrill
Smoke arising among shrubbery greens
Who knows? There might be ghosts or goblins . . .
The earth's fresh scent ride on silent wings
Oh so scary, scary the night brings.
