THE GREATEST GIFT OF ALL

No shiny wrappings - no twinkling lights or snow -
No Christmas trees - full of presents - underneath
Their boughs - but only a cold - dark stable - and a 
Manger full of hay - greated the King of Glory - on 
That first Christmas Day . 


He wasn't born in a palace - with silk sheets on 
His bed - but was lain in an oxen's food store - to
Shelter His tiny head - all planned by a loving Father -
To protect His Beloved Son - when He sent Him
Into this hostile world - as a Gift for 
Everyone . 


Yes- a Gift of the greatest value - that the world 
Had ever known - of a Saviour - wrapped in human 
Flesh - who left His heavenly home - and willingly allowed
Himself - to be hung on a wooden beam - to pay the
Price of a sinful world - our lost souls to 
Redeem . 


So - next time you celebrate Christmas - spare a 
Thought - for the Greatest Gift of all - Emmanuel - God 
With us - offered to you and me - from of the wondrous Love
Of the - True - Father - of Christmas time - for All
Humanity .

Dear friends , this Christmas I want to remind us of what is 
the real meaning of the Season ... The coming into the world
of the Greatest Gift that mankind could ever receive .. and His 
name is JESUS , Emmanuel , the Son of GOD , our Heavenly
Father,  who is the Greatest Gift Giver of all . 

I pray that if you have never asked Jesus to be your Lord and 
Saviour , then may this be your moment to receive God's free
Gift of love and acceptance for you today.

Perhaps you could say this simple prayer .

Dear Heavenly Father . Thank You for sending Your Son Jesus
into this world to save me from my sins , and to give me Your 
gift of Eternal Life. Lord Jesus, I ask You to forgive my sins and  
to come into my heart and be my Lord and Saviour by the power
of Your Holy Spirit , and teach me how to follow You all the days
of my life . Amen .
