Let us return to the Lord, For He has torn us apart; Once again in one accord, Allow Him into your heart.
He has wounded and will heal, Curing you so that you bind; He will fill you with His zeal, Giving sight whence you were blind.
He revives us in three days, Raising us up from the dead; If confessing when one strays, Awakening from your death bed.
Let us strive to know the Lord, Before He has come and gone; That His presence is ignored, At the coming of the dawn.
He will come to us like rain, Like spring showers on the land; Comforting to take the pain, Troubles from daily demand.
What am I going to do? Your goodness is like the cloud; Vanishes like early dew, Fading away in the crowd.
God used prophets to cut them, The ungodly with His Word; For judgment is to condemn, Who insults what they have heard.
He desires loyalty, Rather than a sacrifice; To treat God with royalty, And nothing else to entice.
We transgress the covenant, Because we have disobeyed; And have been so defiant, The Lord is feeling betrayed.
Like raiders wait to entrap, God has seen us defiled; He will not take any flap,
Anyone who is His child. Vote for this poem
