Those who trust in the Lord,
Are just like Mount Zion;
They stay in one accord,
Sureness like a lion.
As the mountains surround,
Same the Lord our God;
Mercy and grace abound,
As we honor and laud.
This time forth evermore,
He surrounds His people;
Always there to assure,
Praising of His Gospel.
The rod of the wicked,
Shall not rest in the land;
As it is not heeded,
What the Lord does demand.
Lest the righteous stretch out,
Unto what they do wrong;
Confidence with no doubt,
As their faith remains strong.
Do good to who are good,
And upright in their heart;
Continue as they should,
That His Word to impart.
But those who turn aside,
Unto their crooked ways;
They no longer abide,
The Lord will lead away.
The Lord shall lead them out,
With their iniquity;
Where evildoers flout,
Away from purity.
