Mom's Gardenia Bush

Over twenty years ago Mom had a favorite gardenia bush outside the fence to our home.
Mom went by the bush every time she would return home while she was in the car.
Words were not ever enough of the joy Mom had when thinking about the gardenias.

God had given us the chance of having a place to ourselves which was paid for.
Some of the amenities were a spacious yard and then the gardenia bush.
Love filled the home we had every single day we lived there

When it came time for Mom to pass away she left behind the gardenia bush plus the care of it.
Another soul was the one who took care of the bush.
Though, in memory the bush was taking care of itself.

The Lord gave us the rain and the sunshine every single day during June.
This is the time when the gardenias will flourish and bloom.
Everything in its time and purpose was true of the gardenia bush.

I was reminded the Lord never makes a mistake.
It is because of His will we are able to do the things we do.
Without Him we cannot do anything.
