When the Man in the White Hat
Preaches intolerance and hate
And Aircraft Carrier Britain fast
Becomes their latest State,
And you can't get NHS medicine
No matter what you do or say,
It's been sold to big business
And you're can't afford to pay.
When the Man in the White Hat
Sends occupying troops to the UK
Because we elected a Left Winger
And that's not their accepted way,
And they have such a past record
Of interfering in Sovereign States,
The Bully Of The Western World,
With all their prejudices and hates.
When offshore island Britain comes
Under their brand of Martial Law
And peaceful street protest becomes
Against their imposed Civil Law;
When we look back on PIP
As a relatively prosperous year
Because the era of the food stamp
Is now at last pitifully in place here.
When the millionaire Brexiteers, having
Profited from their currency speculations,
Have left the Old Country for residence
In any one of a few richer nations,
And the poor are left to live with
The few remaining fat cats
One can't help thinking of
Sinking ships and deserting rats.
The man in the white hat
Will eventually be gone:
Who will sort out his mess
When he's finally moved on.
And, back here in Britain
What will our people say,
As the Fourth of July finally
Replaces Patron Saints Day.
