           Seen and Loved By God


          Maybe what you feel you do
          Seems invisible at times.
          I go there quite often until
           God says He loves my rhymes.

          I am not a famous author...not with
          World-wide recognition...
          But, in Christ, I am much more
           Than I would be in that position.

          Perhaps you're a small time preacher...
          Not as prestious as some are...
          But you are seen and loved by God
          And that's the better deal, by far.

          If you teach a little Sunday School
          In an off the main road town...
           I do belive the thing you do
          Will put a jewel into your Crown.

          You give of your time and talent
          To sing in a small town choir...
          God hears and fills your worship
           With the Holy Ghost and fire.

          Or it well could be your ministry
          Is caring for your Mom or Dad...
          In the eyes of God this is the most
          Valued position you have had.

          It could be that you're a single mother
          And all your pastures aren't green...
          But God, Himself, sent you those youngsters
          And He sees what isn't seen.

          The less-visible parts of what we do
          Aren't seen in second place.
          In fact, our Father sees them
          As in a very sacred space.

          Handing a dollar to some dude
          Who is homeless and in need
          Is as beautiful and worthwhile
          As any ministoral deed.

          In fact, God sees this as ministry
          If coming from the heart.
          For loving the unlovable
          Is what He's done right from the start.

          There are different types of ministry
          On this old sin smeared sod...
          But all of them are recognized...
           They are seen and loved by God.
