Come out of the web of the world's lies
And see the bright dawn that is waiting;
You have a beauty that the stars adore
It shines so bright in those eyes
That love gave to you long ago;
There is a song that echoes in my mind,
That flies on the wings of butterflies
And blows through meadow flowers
On quiet days when all is at peace.
I sometimes see through time to Eternity
And you are always there behind the veil,
Sometimes walking through my dreams
Sometimes inside my smiles on summer days,
And in the silence of a lonely night
Everything whispers your name to me
So all my worries just fade away
And every day brings you closer to me.
